Testing

Taking standardized test is really frustrating for me and most people, but sometimes it eases stress like less homework and shorter class periods. Having less homework is a dream come true. Having shorter class periods is my wonderland but being in the classroom taking a 80 minute on math and a 90 minute test on reading is about the complete opposite of what we all need.

Endings and Beginnings

This year I want to finish the year off strong. I would want to get the grades that I want, like As and Bs no more Cs. Being on good terms with everybody would be another goal for me because some of us won't be going the same high school as the rest of us and when the year ends I wouldn't want to seem like a jerk in their perceptive. As I enter my high school I would want to start off the year just like how I ended eighth grade with good grades and not having a problem with anyone especially teachers at the beginning of the year. It would just add on to the stress that already comes with entering high school

Love

I watched a movie where the main character had to choose between the love of his life or getting a job he has been applying for. He knew that if he chose the job he would have to leave his wife behind because she couldn't know about his job. He loved her so much that he choice to be with her. If you were in his position what would you do?

My experience so far as an eighth grader has been fantastic and challenging. The way we get taught is different from seventh grade, the material is way more challenging. For example we just finished a project we have been working on for about 3 weeks. We researched about a person and then went to an interview as that person. I interviewed as Steve Jobs. It was interesting learning about him.

Science Blog

My child's life has not been very easy for her. She has trouble fitting in with the others kids. She can't seem to make any friends. Sometimes she comes wobbling home because the others kids neglect her. She's very friendly to her classmates, but they can't get passed the way she looks. I've seen kids run away from her. It's very sad that she hasn't made any friends lately.

Food blog

During the summer I would always go to Dairy Queen with my friends, It was basically our routine to go there at least twice a week. We would walk in after being at the park so we're all tired, and it was also hot so what would be better than having ice cream on a hot day. When I went to Dairy Queen, I would always get the Oreo blizzard. I really liked oreos before but now oreos mixed with ice cream was heaven to me. The crunch of the oreo bits are the best part. So since then I've always got the oreo blizzard.

New Years Blog

Before I go to high school I would like to improve in determination in doing my work because sometimes if I don't get the question I would give it a few goes then just give up. This year feels like it would be the same as last year since we're still in eight grade but we have events this year like the graduation ceremony so I'm looking forward to that.
